The Minnesota Twins fell to the Cleveland Indians by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday evening, but that is not what we’re here to talk about. We’re here to talk about… GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!

Manager Ron Gardenhire confirmed after Wednesday’s ballgame that Matt Guerrier would be called up before Thursday’s game. Logan Darnell has been optioned back to Triple-A Rochester.

Guerrier pitched for the Twins from 2004-2010 before going on his world tour of bullpens, pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs.

Guerrier has pitched in seven minor league games this season with three at Double-A New Britain and four at Triple-A Rochester. Between the two, Guerrier has pitched nine innings this year with a 4.00 ERA. In five innings at Rochester, Guerrier has a 7.20 ERA with a save.
