The Diamond Awards were last night, I wasn’t invited and you probably weren’t either. Sure, the news gathering entities were there and I noticed this on TV last night.

"Brian Dozier was being interviewed on FOX 9. Gardy walks behind him and gives him bunny ears. #cute"

We didn’t get awards, but I have some Weekend Web Gems for us all which is just as good!

Jesse, Twinkie Town, starts us off on a very bright note. He asks, what will happen to the Minnesota Twins if Byron Buxton and Miguel Sano don’t pan out? You’ll probably find me on the St. Louis Cardinals beat, in all honesty.

Nick Nelson, Twins Daily, tackles something we all like to talk about: money! Nelson talks about the Twins payroll for the upcoming season.

Andrew Walter, Twins Fan From Afar, is far away from Minnesota, but close to the New Britain Rock Cats. Andrew was at the Rock Cats Hot Stove Luncheon and here is his report.

Cody Christie, North Dakota Twins Fan, breaks down the Twins top prospects that are on MLB’s prospect positional rankings. It’s the usual characters, but the future is so much fun.

Brad Swanson, Kevin Slowey was Framed!, bought a Shane Mack rookie card on eBay. It’s an awesome card and I love baseball cards, so naturally you should check it out.

Mike Berardino, Pioneer Press, reports that Jack Morris might be returning to a Twins broadcast near you. That’d be kind of neat!

A lot of folks are heading to Target Field and Twins Fest this weekend, so Berardino also breaks down the basics of Twins Fest. Fest responsibly, my friends.

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick… Counting it down ‘til pitchers and catchers report!
