I love the Twins, but right now we are fighting.
Best hitter: Jason Kubel, .162 WPA.
Worst hitter: Michael Cuddyer, -.144 WPA. Cuddles needs a day off, but that probably means Brendan Harris would be back at third. Ugh.
Best pitcher: Jesse Crain, .049 WPA.
Worst pitcher: Ron Gardenhire, for pulling Liriano after the fifth inning. F-Bomb wasn’t his sharpest, but he only threw 77 pitches and still posted a 7/1 K/BB ratio despite giving up three runs, and to pull him just because he had to hit is about as dumb as it gets. I hate the National League, I really do.
