Friday Linkers! I apologize for keeping the links from you for so long. The Twins have been bad. And not just bad, but downright awful. They’re now the worst team, not only in the American League Central, but in the entire American League. Only Houston, who is on pace to lose 4,924 games this year, is worse than the Twins in all of Major League Baseball. But the night is darkest before dawn, Twins fans, so let this edition of the Friday Links be your guiding light.

(I’ve been away from the links for a while, so this edition is a little light, bear with me.) (more…)

It is Friday again, and thanks to Rebecca Black, we can’t even enjoy that the same way we used to. But the good news is that Minnesota Twins have turned that 9-game losing streak into a distant memory as they split a series against King Felix and his Mariners before sweeping the A’s out of Oakland. The Twins are playing baseball like a lot of Twins fans expected heading into 2011. The pitching has been solid and the bats are coming alive. The Twins are still meddling a little bit fielding (Trevor Plouffe) but they’re making great strides.

Around the internet various Twins and Baseball writers have been publishing some pretty interesting thoughts and ideas and I’d like to share them with you. (more…)

Since the prospect chatter and requisite rankings are starting to fly fast and furious I went ahead and created a new page on the site which I oh-so cleverly titled “Prospects.”

Sheer genius right?

Yeah, yeah whatever … So the plan is to keep this list updated as new rankings and lists come out. I will also do my best to try and track down any Twins lists I may have missed in the last couple of months and get ‘em linked up for reference.

Anyway, in addition to pointing out a few Twins prospect lists that came out in the last couple of days, I also wanted to celebrate the arrival of The Baseball Prospect Book 2011. Yay mail! Yay prospect books! Yay baseball!

Blizzards? Yeah those still suck … (more…)
