Three-year-old girl ranks every mascot in the MLB including Minnesota Twins TC Bear.

Baseball is back, and so are the mascots. Lets be honest, mascots are around to entertain the youth. With that in mind, Sporting News decided to ask a child what she thought of every MLB mascot. Three-year-old Alice Spector was given pictures of each mascot on a laptop and asked to comment on what she liked or didn’t like.

Clark the Cub ranked last while Mr. Met ranked as the number one mascot. The lovable TC Bear just missed the top 10 as he ranked 11, behind Stomper (A’s) and just ahead of Billy (Marlins).

Spector’s comment about TC differed from the others she gave for the other mascots. She didn’t give reasons why liked or disliked TC. Instead, she offered up a suggestion for the Twins mascot.

"“The bear should dance to ‘Shake It Off’.”"

Upon some research, I was unable to verify if TC has ever danced to Taylor Swift’s hit jam. TC is often seen playing air guitar and pretending to ride a motorcycle during team introductions. TC possibly dancing to “Shake It Off” in the future is completely doable.

With the dance parties rumored to continue in 2016 under Brian Dozier‘s direction, I wonder if there is a marketable opportunity here. Could TC teach young fans how to celebrate dance party style using “Shake It Off”?
