Minnesota Twins Game 141: Lineups and First Impressions

facebooktwitterreddit

The Minnesota Twins will look to bounce back tonight after dropping the series opener against the Los Angeles Angels as Glen Perkins failed to slam the door in the 9th inning.  While both Kyle Gibson and Hector Santiago pitched well last night, it will be rookie Matt Shoemaker for the Angels and struggling Ricky Nolasco for the Twins.

Minnesota will look to awaken the bats and steal a game from one of the better teams in baseball.

First Impressions

  • Danny Santana heads back into the infield tonight, thankfully.  However, Gardy is running Chris Hermann out to left field with options like Jordan Schafer sitting on the bench.
  • Thankfully, Doug Bernier has yet to take starts away from Santana, good on Gardy for that.
  • Is it bobblehead day yet?  The Twins need that bad, last night’s attendance was harsh.

Game Time

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 Central from Target Field tonight.  There are overcast skies once again.

You can catch all of the action on FOX Sports North and heard across the Minnesota Twins Radio Network.  No football will compete with the Twins tonight.
