The Minnesota Twins are coming off dropping a series to the AL Central leading Kansas City Royals by a 3-1 total.  Tonight, they welcome in the Cleveland Indians for a three game series at Target Field.  The Indians find themselves at a crossroads, where another series loss could take them out of contention altogether, while the Twins look to stop a two game skid.

For the Twins, Kyle Gibson will take the mound.  He will be opposed by the former top prospect, Trevor Bauer.

First Impressions:

  • Oswaldo Arcia finds himself sitting comfortable in the 5th spot while he continues to mash at the plate.  He has raised his contact numbers and his approach looks much better.
  • Kennys Vargas has done a great job out of the cleanup spot since his promotion, the Twins have to be excited about that.
  • Danny Santana is still in center field tonight, another day without a turn at short.

Game Details:

First pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:10 pm central time from Target Field.  The game can be seen on Fox Sports North or heard on the Twins Radio Network.
