Kevin Correia is only going to give you so many good starts in a season and the Minnesota Twins wasted one of them last night. Correia only gave up one run on a handful of hits which is a masterful performance for the righty. The Twins throw their best arm out on the mind tonight and the Red Sox counter with one that’s not too shabby as well.

First Impressions

  • Kendrys Morales is freakin’ Iron Man. All he does is play baseball and I love it.
  • A.J. is not in the lineup tonight for the Sox. Are we all okay with AJ now? I think he’s awesome, but I am fairly weird.
  • Every day that Pedro Florimon is not in the starting lineup is already a victory for the Minnesota Twins.
  • I get really excited when Phil Hughes pitches. It’s fun to have a guy like that in the rotation again.
  • Random: Are the Twinkies going to get extra All-Star reps since they are hosting? There are some really deserving dudes on this squad.

Game Time

First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 Central from historic Fenway Park in Boston, Mass.

Game can been seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
