The Blue Jays are good, like leading the American League East by 5.5 games good. I’ve been impressed by the team across the border and even more impressed by Mark Buehrle, who the Twins luckily will miss in this three game series in Toronto.

Just because I can’t hold it in anymore, Kendrys Morales is in the starting lineup! YAY!

Joe Mauer 1B

Eduardo Escobar SS

Toronto Blue Jays (38-26) Lineup

First Impressions

  • Again, KENDRYS MORALES! I love a little excitement in the middle of a season.
  • Nice to see you again, R.A. Dickey. I said the Twins should’ve kept you way back when, but I was even more immature then so I probably just really liked your last name.
  • That Toronto Blue Jays lineup, though…
  • Suddenly the Twins lineup looks pretty legit, too. Even more so if #7 can get it going to some extent.
  • Do what you’re being paid to do, Ricky.

Game Time

First pitch is scheduled for 6:07 Central from Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Eh!

Game can be seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
