Credit: Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports
Rubber game! The Minnesota Twins and Houston Astros have been putting on a show the last two days and it comes down to one nine inning contest. Of course, many aren’t talking about the Twins game from yesterday, but the signing of Kendrys Morales and the resulting bye-bye to Jason Kubel.
To the lineups for Sunday’s contest and, oh, by the way…. Morales will be in uniform today:
Minnesota Twins (29-31) Lineup
Brian Dozier 2B
Houston Astros (27-36) Lineup
Jose Altuve 2B
Jonathan Singleton 1B
Chris Carter DH
First Impressions
- Collin! There’s another two l’ed Collin out there. Collin Raye and I are no longer alone!
- The Astros bullpen catcher, Jeff Murphy, has his own Wikipedia page.
- Jesse Crian is on the disabled list with the Astros and I totally forget he was on the Astros.
- #DeathToTheReunionTour
- No Mauer today. That’s interesting.
- Two shortstops in the outfield! YES! Isn’t this fun?!
Game Time
First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 from beautiful Target Field in downtown Minneapolis.
The game can be seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
