There is a hockey game tonight and the puck drop is supposed to be at 8:30, so far this postseason that has meant a little bit before 9:00. That means we can still watch like two hours of the Twins and if it’s like last night’s game, we probably can catch the last couple innings after the final horn in Chicago.

Minnesota Twins (12-14) Lineup

Brian Dozier 2B

Joe Mauer 1B

Trevor Plouffe 3B

Chris Colabello RF

Jason Kubel LF

Josmil Pinto DH

Kurt Suzuki C

Sam Fuld CF

Eduardo Escobar SS

Baltimore Orioles (14-12) Lineup

Nick Markakis RF

Manny Machado 3B

Nelson Cruz LF

Adam Jones CF

Matt Wieters C

J.J. Hardy SS

Delmon Young DH

Steve Pearce 1B

Jonathan Schoop 2B

First Impressions

  • Ubaldo Jiminez looks scary in name, but the stats this year tell a different story.
  • Who would have thought that Delmon Young would be the better ex-Twin for the O’s?
  • Eduardo Escobar is in the lineup again. I think we’re seeing the switch away from Pedro Florimon.

Game Time

First pitch is 7:10 from beautiful Target Field in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Can be seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
