Welcome to another exciting edition of the Minnesota Twins Week in Review, I’m your host Collin Kottke. Tonight, we will look at the really, super-duper exciting two things that happened in the past week for your Minnesota Twins.
On Wedneday, the Twins did something they have proven they are really good at and that is getting the ol’ band back together. The Twins accomplished this once again by bringing back reliever Matt Guerrier on a minor league contract with an invite to Spring Training.
That seriously was the biggest story of the week.
The other happening of notoriety is that the Twins let Andrew Albers go. This move allows Albers to sign with his suitor in Korea and it results in the Twins having an open spot on the 40-man roster. The most exciting part of that sentence is the last part.
And that about wraps it up for this very enthralling edition of the Twins Week in Review, but before we go I want to remind you that pitchers and catchers report in less than a fortnight, so you don’t have to stay in your bunkers too much longer, baseball fans.
Until next week, I’m Collin Kottke signing off for the Minnesota Twins Week in Review. Tune in next week when maybe, just maybe, we’ll fill that elusive 40th spot on the 40-man roster.
