Minnesota Twins Prospects Byron Buxton & Miguel Sano Both Hurt

Not to sound the panic alarm or anything, but… BYRON BUXTON AND MIGUEL SANO ARE BOTH HURT! RIGHT NOW! AHHHHHHHHHH!

That’s right the offensive future of the Minnesota Twins franchise is collectively sitting on the shelf and will no longer participate in Winter Ball this off-season. Buxton has aggravated his left shoulder while Sano strained ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing elbow.

Sano will be meeting with the most popular doctor in America, Dr. James Andrews, about his UCL, but surgery is not expected at this moment.

The Twins top two prospects have not appeared in a lot of action during the Winter League before the injury setbacks.

Reports across the web are saying that these injuries don’t look too severe, but it is always news when the future of a franchise is held in the balance.
