Over the last two seasons, Slowey had a total 2.6 WAR, while Marquis had 1.1. Going by that ratio, if Slowey gets $2.7 M, Marquis should have gotten about $1 million. I was fine with the decision to drop Slowey.... but I naively assumed the Twins would try to replace him with someone who is actually better. Silly me, I should have known better!
