		<description>The Twins should go after Ryan Dempster. His ERA was an issue this year, but that is after 3 years of very good pitching. And he strikes out around 200 guys every year with an 8+ k/9 rate. He would be the Pavano replacement in 2013 (and 2014, let&#039;s say) with a similar kind of contract (a few million more a year, probably). Put him at the top of the rotation, Baker 2, Liriano 3, Pavano 4 (where, I agree, he actually is very valuable), and then figure out the 5 spot from some place (probably not in house if the Twins are smart and trade Slowey, who has value to plenty of teams, move Blackburn and Duensing to the bullpen, wait on Hendriks for the moment, and trade Swarzak or keep him in Rochester as the first call up to the rotation if someone is injured early.
