It would bring me no small amount of joy to see the Yankees miss the playoffs, but that isn&#039;t realistically going to happen.  Besides, it isn&#039;t just the Yankees, the Twins have struggled to score runs against all of their postseason opponents since 2002. That&#039;s the problem with having such an unbalanced lineup; it&#039;s easy for anyone to shut them down in a short series (even Oakland).  I don&#039;t think the lineup needs a huge overhaul; like you said, their left-handed bats have carried them to the postseason, but they could use some right-handed power.</description>

		<description>It doesn&#039;t look like the Yankees are ever going to run out of left-handed pitching.  And this lefty-loaded lineup is a big part of what gets the Twins to the postseason in the first place.  Maybe your best bet is to play someone else in the divisional series?</description>
