Liriano Wins AL Comeback Player of the Year; I do an interview

One of these is not like the other. Today MLB announced that Twins lefty is the recipient of the AL Comeback Player of the Year award. Liriano led the team in nearly every pitching category, and led the league in xFIP and was 2nd in FIP. Back in winter ball when I read about Liriano’s success I was excited, but couldn’t help be a bit skeptical. Regardless of how excited a person was about Liriano coming into the year, he has surpassed all expectations. Congratulations to Frankie.

In other news, I did an interview with Bronx Baseball Daily, a great blog about some random AL East team that I’ve never heard of. They also interviewed Parker from Over the Baggy, and I have to say he did an excellent job representing the Twins blogging family.
