The Twins finished the week with a 4-2 record.

Scott Baker pitched on Friday against Tampa Bay and finally had a good start.  In 6.0 IP he allowed 5 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 1 HR and struck out 2.

Francisco Liriano pitched on Saturday against Boston.  He threw 3.0 innings while allowing 4 hits, 7 earned runs, 3 walks, 3 home runs and recorded 5 strikeouts.

Kevin Slowey pitched Tuesday against Florida and Sunday against St. Louis.  Both starts were very good.  Combined in 11.0 IP he allowed 10 H, 3 R, 0 BB, 2 HR and struck out 10.

Nick Blackburn pitched Thursday against Cincinnati.  In 4.0 innings he allowed 3 hits, 2 runs, no walks, 1 home run and struck out 1.

Glen Perkins pitched Monday against Tampa Bay and threw his 2nd shutout in a row.  In 6.0 IP he allowed 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 HR and recorded 4 SO.

Week 1: ERA of 3.46 with a WHIP of 1.23 in 13.0 innings
Week 2: ERA of 1.11 with a WHIP of 0.78 in 24.1 innings
Week 3: ERA of 4.43 with a WHIP of 1.33 in 20.1 innings
Week 4: ERA of 4.98 with a WHIP of 1.52 in 21.2 innings
